If you need help figuring out what class of cunt goes there, you've probably got lifetime membership, like the other media whores. But, in the name of unbiased objectivity, and the fact that I was thirsty for booze and none too picky at the time, in I went. Mistake number one.

The interior is fucking huge. If the place ceased to become profitable, probably because Tarquin, Fiachra, Bunty and their chums decided to find a new watering hole because the Odium was so passé, they could use it as a starting point for the Fourth Reich. High ceilings, plenty of room to hang Untermensch and other undesirables from hooks while toasting the next thousand years of Nazi rule. And to be honest, I'm not sure the clientele would be that different anyway.

When I was getting there, I deftly evaded the bouncers, flummoxing them with my linguistic ability because it was one of the rare times I was not pickled with alcohol. I picked a seat by the window, near the door, because sometimes you learn as much about a place by who they don't let in as who they do. I saw two black guys in suits, obviously sober, being refused entry, while obviously hammered whites were allowed in. I'm not saying there may not have been another reason, but I didn't see any. Fuck it.

The booze is as you would expect: overpriced, with many standard beers more expensive, perhaps because they were filled with smack, but I doubt it. The bunch of anaemic cunts who pollute this place and many others wouldn't try smack, preferring the white powder of the advertising executive. And what the hell, it leaves more for me.

The bar is long, too long, I saw many people piled up at the bar, like someone told them that Gerry fucking Ryan was having his scrotum nailed to it, but only 2 people serving. Undermanned, unless they were under orders to exterminate them, and had a machine gun or two under the counter, rather than serve them. Although I think that's the best service most of the people there deserved.
